It is located in the District La Sguancia /Via dei Faggi 4, it is built on a total surface of 3.600 sq. on three levels. It has 60 covered car-parks and over 80 external car-parks.

Means of transportation and connection to the seat: n. 2 urban buses about any ten minutes and with the stop at about 50 meters from the seat of the Faculty. The seat is easily reachable with private means and it is 400 metres far from the high-way exit of Lugano Sud. The distance from the Seat in Via Ai Grotti in Paradiso is about three minutes and from the seat of Pregassona is about 12 minutes.

Usage of the seat : in this seat there are the Faculty of Technological and Human Sciences, the Direction and the administrative Secretary, the Technical Office, the Didactic Direction of the Athenaeum with Presidency, Rectorate, Senate’s Room, legal Offices, Informatics’ laboratories with 50 places with PC for the students, linked to internet, the Library with relating library’s office and service of books’ lending, cofe, students’ counter, toilets, garage for the reparation, upkeep and construction of prototypes.

• Main hall n. 3: it has 120 small armchairs with tip up desk. It has a fixed plant of digital projection with Beamer 4.100 ANSI LUMEN, video accesses 5 BMC 2HD15, 2 x co-axial video 2 x SVHS; Equipments for video reproduction linked to the Beamer: fixed personal computer with a flat screen; Video recorder; DVD; possibility of connecting digital video cameras. Equipment of sound diffusion composed of: amplifier audio-video Sony 4 channels con 4 audio access and 4 exits, plus 8 audio-video access. Motorized projection’s screen (m 3,5 x m 3,5). Wall Blackboard Weleda 120 X 360. Retro projection of the latest generation, model 3M, of 4.100 ANSI LUMEN. The Personal computer is linked to internet/intranet so a to project research on internet and video-conference on informatics’ net. Moreover it is provided with many telephone’s connections besides the internet connection.
  The media supports above-listed are in any lecture hall of the seat in Pazzallo. The whole equipment has been built respecting the safety and hygenic-sanitary rules.

• Lecture hall n. 2: it has 35 small armchairs with tip up desk. It has the same media supports as the ones described for the Main hall n. 3.
• Library: the Library’s system of the Athenaeum, is mainly placed in the seat in Pazzallo with a detachment in the seats in Paradiso and in Pregassona. The library has volumes concerning the elective disciplinary areas of the Athenaeum, as well as 62 specialized magazines and virtual connections with national and international Libraries that gives the access to 300.000 volumes in the humanistic area.
  The online consultation is made possible thanks to the contracts of connections with the most important national and international data banks (ex. BBS, New Medical Journal, New medline,..)
