It is located in Via Ceresio 40/42, on a useful gross area of 3.250 square meters, placed on 5 levels. In the outer area, for a total of 5.000 sm, there are 200 car-parks available. At each level there are toilettes in conformity with the law.

Means of transport and of connection to the seat: city bus n.3 and n.2 about each 10 minutes. The bus stops are located in front of the Faculty seat. The seat is easily reachable by car, both from Lugano Nord and from Lugano Sud. The distance between the seat of Pazzallo and the one of Paradiso is of about 12 minutes.

Usage of the Seat : the seat houses the Faculty of Rehabilitative and Motor Sciences for a total of 20 lecture halls: 9 lecture halls for the frontal didactics, 9 lecture halls for technical-practical lessons, 1 laboratory of anthropometry for the research surveys in osteopathy, 1 lecture hall used as informatics’ laboratory with 35 computer connected to internet and usable by the students.

First floor:
It houses 6 lecture halls, all equipped with an operative system of transmission of data and a “TELEMEDICINE” connection with the partner clinics where the students do their practical training and with the other two seats in Pazzallo and Paradiso.
At the main entrance there is a large hall with a coffee bar and information spaces provided with notice boards which show announcements, regulations, application forms, academic calendars, announcements for scholarships, messages, useful news for the students (board and lodging, transports, libraries, public and private museums, cultural and free time entertainments) and the information about the agreements and the conventions signed with public and private institutions for a cheaper access to various facilities.

• Lecture hall n. 11: it is used for frontal didactics and equipped with 50 small armchairs with hinged desk. It is provided with a fix plant of digital projection with Beamer 2.200 ANSI LUMEN, video gates 2xHD15, 2 x coaxial video, 2 x SVHS; devices for the video reproduction connected to Beamer: fixed personal computer with flat screen; video recorder; DVD; possibility to connect digital video cameras. Screen for projection (m 2 x m2). Blackboard Weleda 120 x 200. Last generation back-projector, model 3M, 2100 ANSI LUMEN. The Personal Computer is connected to internet/intranet so as to project researches in internet and video conferences on the web. It is equipped with several phone connections apart from the internet connection.
• Lecture hall n. 12: it is used for frontal didactics and is provided with 25 small armchairs with hinged desk. It is equipped with the same media supports described for lecture hall n. 11.
• Lecture hall n. 13: it is used as meeting room for teachers; it’s provided with 7 computer connected to internet/intranet, the two nets are physically divided. In the lecture hall there is a printer/photocopier black and white and colours, connected to the net; 4 telephones with internal and external line. It is equipped with the same media supports described for the lecture hall n.11.
• Lecture hall n. 14: it is used for frontal didactics and it is provided with 15 small armchairs with hinged desk. It is equipped with the same media supports described for the lecture hall n. 11.
• Lecture hall n. 15: it is used as laboratory of study and research for the students and it is provided with 35 places equipped with desk desks, internet connected computers and black and white and colour printer/photocopier.
• Lecture hall n. 16: it is used as care-taker room, provided with 2 computer connected to internet/intranet, black and white and colour printer/photocopier, n. 2 telephones with internal and outer line. The two nets are physically divided.

Second floor:
It houses 7 lecture halls, 4 of which are used for frontal lessons and 3 for technical-practical activities. All the lecture halls are provided with an operative system of clinical data transmission through “TELEMEDICINE” in real-time connection with the partner clinics of L.U.de.S., where the student do their practical training and with the other two seats of Pazzallo and Paradiso. Moreover all the lecture-halls are equipped with the same media supports described for the lecture hall n.11.

• Lecture hall n. 21: it is used for technical-practical activities of physiotherapy and it is provided with 5 electrical small beds useful for the basic rehabilitative manipulations.
• Lecture hall n. 22: it is used for technical-practical activities of physiotherapy and it is provided with 10 electrical small beds useful for the physiotherapy manipulations.
• Lecture hall n. 23: it is used for technical-practical activities of physiotherapy and it is provided with 6 electrical small beds totally articulated, useful for the treatment and the analyses of 4 parts of the body.
• Lecture hall n. 24: it is used for frontal lessons. It is provided with n. 20 small armchairs with hinged desk.
• Lecture hall n. 25: it is used for frontal lessons. It is provided with n. 40 small armchairs with hinged desk.
• Lecture hall n. 26: it is used for frontal lessons. It is provided with n. 16 small armchairs with hinged desk.
• Lecture hall n. 27: it is used for frontal lessons. It is provided with n. 25 small armchairs with hinged desk.

Third floor:
It houses 7 lecture halls, 4 of which are used for frontal lessons and 3 for technical-practical activities.
